Hi, I’m Catherine Nemelka.

As the owner and head instructor at Nine Lives Equestrian, I bring a lifetime of equestrian experience to my role. I began riding at the age of 2 and have been teaching, competing, and training horses since 2015. My current focus is on colt starting, and I find great joy in watching the bond between horses and students as they learn and grow together. I am passionate about both Western and English riding disciplines. I love constantly improving my knowledge and implementing it with horses I train and lessons I teach.

Hi, I’m beth burdette.

I fell in love with horses as a toddler and had to ride every pony I saw. At age 11 I started taking riding lessons and got my first horse at the age of 12. I took that 3 year old horse to 4-h shows, jumping shows and did some eventing as well. Now with 15+ years of riding experience under my belt I am sharing my knowledge and love of horses to others. My passion is jumping and eventing but I also ride western for barrels, trail rides and training.

Hi, I’m Sam Ward.

I have been horseback riding since the age of 10 and became a member of Nine Lives Equestrian in 2023. I have taught lessons for the past year in Utah and previously assisted with instruction for several years in California. I recently started competing and training horses. I love being in the sunshine and playing with the horses all day.
